Pest Prevention – Naturally

At Go-Forth Services, customer safety and satisfaction are our top priorities – which is why we offer our clients environmentally-friendly pest prevention options. Organic pesticides are designed to protect your home from harmful and infectious pests such as: red ants, spiders, fleas, ticks and cockroaches, without the use of standard chemicals.

Our natural pest control solutions are used for general pest prevention purposes rather than the treatment of existing infestations (for information on treating an existing infestation, please visit our Integrated Pest Management page). As part of our Organic pest prevention program, we first inspect the premises and remove all spider webs and flying insect nests around the residential or commercial structure. Next, organic insecticides in granular form are spread along the perimeter of the structure in order to prevent pests from gaining entrance.

Pyrethrum

Pyrethrum is a natural insecticide produced from the dried flower heads of two chrysanthemum species. For centuries pyrethrum was used as a botanical insecticide and a lice treatment in the Middle East. Originally, this natural insecticide was known as Persian Pellitory or Persian Insect Powder.

Pyrethrum is produced by drying the chrysanthemum leaves and then crushing them into a powder form. It rapidly disintegrates into the environment, making it an ideal and safe solution for residential and commercial pest control solutions. This botanical insecticide ranks low in acute toxicity for humans and pets, making it a wonderful alternative to synthetic pesticides.

Citric Acid

Citric Acid is a colorless, crystalline carboxylic acid found in almost all citrus fruits and plants. This acid was first extracted in 1784 by a Swedish chemist, but not until recently has it been used for residential and commercial pest control. 
This biodegradable acid is low in toxicity and is relatively noncorrosive, making it an ideal treatment for residential or commercial pest prevention. Citric Acid Insecticides are often made from natural lemon or orange components, and are used to control numerous insects around the home and in the garden.
